Retail Buildout · The Grove, Los Angeles

A commercial kitchen,
reborn as a retail store.

A full retail buildout at The Grove — converting a former commercial kitchen into a bright, polished store for a growing confectionery brand's second Los Angeles location.

The space started life as a working commercial kitchen. ASEP took it back to the structure — exposed brick and all — and rebuilt it as a refined retail environment, coordinating demolition, framing, electrical, flooring, glazing, and finishes under one schedule.

The scope

Full demolition of the existing kitchen, new partitions and ceilings, recessed lighting throughout, herringbone wood-look flooring, glass storefront and partition work, and custom retail finishes built for daily foot traffic.

The result

A clean, daylight-bright retail store ready for customers — delivered to the same standard as the brand's original Abbot Kinney location, on a fast, predictable timeline.

This build reflects ASEP's commercial buildout and remodeling work for retail and workplace spaces across West LA.
